As it was unknown when the production work would resume, director Colin Trevorrow did not waste time and started with the post-production work. Jurassic World Dominion movie director Colin Trevorrow, with his visual effects team, worked on the video footage of the dinosaurs.

The film shooting resumed on 6 July 2020. Universal paid $9 million to follow the safety protocols. This cost includes renting an entire hotel in England for the stay of the team members and quarantining. Each member and hotel staff was tested three times per week for Covid. Because of rescheduling and delay, Johnson could not join the movie although he tried.

14. The Audience Contributed to the Post-Production of the Film

The director Colin Trevorrow completed the post-production of Jurassic World Dominion in a barn behind his UK house. During the Covid-19 Pandemic break, the director did most of the post-production work for the Jurassic World Dominion movie. The almost finished Colin Trevorrow-directed movie got screened for a few friends and Jurassic Park franchise fans.
