Abbott Elementary created by Quinta Brunson follows the story of an elementary school that includes a bunch of teachers, students, and the principal. A documentary crew is there in the Abbott to record the teachers and their life and the way they are working in this school which is underfunded. The Willard R. Abbott Elementary School is majorly a black elementary school located in Philadelphia. The condition of the school is not so good and just like a common public school where the teachers do not stay more than two years. In the current teacher group of twenty, there are two years who have crossed one year named Jacob Hill who is a history teacher, and Janine Teagues who is a teacher of second grade. Both of them are working with other teachers named Barbara Howard, Melissa Schemmenti, a substitute teacher Gregory Eddie and the principal Ava Coleman.
