The show was produced by ABC Studios, Marvel Television, and F and B Fazekas and Butters. The first season consisted of 8 episodes and ran from January 6 to February 24, 2015. The second season consisted of 10 episodes and ran from January 19 to March 1, 2016. It is based on a Marvel character Peggy Carter reprising her role in the 2011 film Captain America: The First Avenger. The series has a total of 18 episodes divided into two seasons. The show has been officially canceled by the network, which means, unfortunately, you will not see season 3 of Agent Carter anymore. There had been many fan clubs that are still trying to bring the show back, but the makers have already decided what they are going to do.
This is probably because makers have other business or new projects to take care of or they are interested in doing something totally new now. Marvel usually never cancels a show that has gained an enormous fanbase, but they did this one.
There’s definitely a secret reason we don’t know about. But, we will never see the end of the show.

Agent Carter Season 3 Story
The first season started with Stark reaching out to Carter to help him to clear his name. In the second episode, Stark’s weapon is in the enemy’s hands and Carter is the only one to bring it back. In the third episode, Carter gets closer to the stolen technology of Stark, and in the next episode, he returns out of nowhere creating problems for Peggy.
Peggy Carter is finally trusted with a mission by other SSR agents in the fifth episode. In the sixth episode, Peggy is shocked to realize that her enemies are closer to her than she thought. The second season started with Peggy moving to another city to help Chief and ended with her needing Stark to eliminate Zero matter.

Agent Carter Season 3 Cast
Hayley Atwell was seen as Peggy Carter who is an SSR agent stuck in administrative work. Her superpower is that the other people often underestimate her but she uses that to her advantage. The sudden death of Steve Rogers influenced her very badly. To this Atwell said, “Steve was one of the greatest persons that Peggy knew”. She knew him before he became Captain America. So. She is making sure that his work should not go into vain and she is also grieving her loss. The other characters were James D’Arcy and Edwin Jarvis who will eventually become the tutor of Tony Stark.
Chad Michael Murray portrayed the role of Jack Thompson who is an agent with SSR. He is very determined to be the head of SSR and is working very hard for this. He just wants to be great at his job. Enver Gjokaj was seen as Daniel Sousa who is also an agent with SSR but is often discriminated against due to his injured leg. He has romantic feelings for Carter and might ask her out if she was not dating Captain America. Shea Whigham played the role of Roger Dooley who is SSR chief and often oversees Carter Thompson and Sousa. He dies to save his fellow agents in season 1. It was sure from the starting that Dooley will die in season 1 and Whigham was hired for only seven episodes.

There is no official trailer for the third season of the show on YouTube as the show is already canceled. If makers decide to go with the new season, the trailer will be released on YouTube only. However, to our amazement, we were not able to find the official trailer of the first two seasons too on YouTube.
