Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 Sustainable War is a television animated series. The show was originally premiered on April 23, 2020. However, until now only one season had been released and is currently under halt. This was also converted into an animated movie later in the year 2021 almost similar to that of the animated version. The movie was a great success and was mentioned positively by multiple magazine critics. Therefore, the production team had now decided to re-release the show with some recent technological advancements. There are also some changes in the crew of production where Michihito Fuji had been appointed as the new director of the show. The storyline, as well as the genre, is expected to be the same as the first season.

It is based on a completely hypothetical situation and is completely fictional. The story happens in the world in 2045 where there are more changes than in the present. Economic values and markets had been down due to an unfortunate event is known as Simultaneous Global Default that happened throughout the world. Now some world powers are in a struggle to regain their economic superiority. Most of the people at that time had no idea what to live as it was hard to survive without a serious income. Therefore some officers involved with Public Security Section Nine had left the group to work as independent mercenaries. But later there came some existential problems for the entire human race. Therefore they were asked to regroup back at the Public Security Section Nine. The movie is scheduled to be re-released via Netflix on May 9, 2022. It is expected to have a duration of almost ninety minutes and will be released as a single part.
- Vampire in the Garden – May 16
Vampire in the Garden will be yet another series that will be released in May. It will be an animated web series and the first season will be released before any other. All the episodes of the show will be of twenty-four minutes but the number of episodes in the show is currently unknown. There is also confusion regarding whether all the episodes of the show are set to be released altogether still lies a mystery. However, the story going through a horror genre will be a different experience overall. Furthermore, the Japanese animated series is developed by Wit Studio under the direction of Ryotaro Makihara and Hiroyuki Tanaka.

Vampire in the Garden is reportedly rendered in Dolby Digital audio format. The show has an interesting plot mixing some supernatural elements with reality. It is an adventurous fantasy thriller where the relationship between a vampire queen and a human girl is portrayed. Both of them want a world of peace that could only happen if humans and vampires get on together well. It is now at the hands of the duos that the future of the world will be determined. Vampire in the Garden will be released on May 16, 2022, through Netflix. It is hard to predict the end date of the first season due to the lack of sufficient information from Netflix.
- One Piece – May 22
An entirely new version of One Piece will be making its way in May. This is after releasing numerous movies, shows, and series based on the book written by Eiichiro Oda. But this time it will be made by the United States in coordination with Tomorrow Studios, Shueisha and Netflix. At first, it was reported that they were planning to release the show in March 2022, however, this plan was changed due to some unknown reason. Nevertheless, they have managed not to extend the show further ahead.
This means the Star Hat Pirates will be back into action very soon. The exact story of One Piece’s new season hasn’t been revealed yet. But Luffy, Zoro, Law, and Kid will be there for the next adventures. After Luffy became the Pirate king things became shaky. A new set of challenges especially concerning the present and the future world waits for them. The next season can also expect a fresh start in their journey. One Piece will be delivered with a brand new complexion and will be streamed through Netflix from May 22, 2022.
- The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie – May 20
Bibury Animation Studios had now decided to launch a new animated movie with the title “The Quintessential Quintuplets”. The show will also be released on Netflix and is confirmed that it will be in May itself. The animated movie is written by Keiichiro Ochi under the direction of Masato Jinbo. It is yet another anime that is being adapted from a manga series. It was on August 9, 2017, that the first issue of The Quintessential Quintuplets had been published in the Weekly Shonen Magazine. Later two different animated television series were released by Bibury Animation Studios but failed to continue for a long time.

Despite getting recognized for the contributions made in Japan, the expectations for the film by the people will be immense. The romantic series introduces a relatable plot for some of the audience. A schoolboy who lost his mother had been seeking ways to lead a happier life. He desperately wanted some money to settle some debts he had. Unexpectedly he was appointed as a teacher by a rich family to improve the grades of the children. He makes use of the opportunity and makes money as he had to look after five sisters. As the story progresses Futaro is expected to marry one of that sisters. The series will be released on May 20, 2022.
- Toku Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru – May 20
As a continuation of the animated series which was started telecasting in October 2016, Toku Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru is all set for its return on May 20, 2022. In addition, the show will be released as a series of films that will come between May and September 2022. Takashi Naoya, Tomoaki Koshida, and Sumie Noro will direct the first, second, and third movies respectively. Furthermore, the first movie in this series titled “Yuki no Maki” will be released on May 20 as its premiere. While the second one titled “Tsuki no Maki” is scheduled for July 8, the final one “Hana no Maki” is expected to be released on September 1, 2022. On the other hand, Doga Kobo Studios had supervised the production works and hopes their first venture to be a great success.
- Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045– May 23
Along with the modified first season, the season is also expected to be released in May. Netflix will be streaming the show online as well as the animated film. Ghost in the Shell had reportedly completed the production works of season two and handed over the final draft for the second season to Netflix. The show is created by Masamune Shirow and is directed by Michihiro Fuji. Furthermore, Production I.G and Sola Digital Arts are the key producers of the anime. The second season will run with episodes having twenty-four minutes per episode.
- Pokemon Master Journey – May 26
The first and the second part of Pokemon master Journey was released previously. There was certain confusion regarding the third party. However, we can confirm that the third part will be released through Netflix on May 26, 2022. Moreover, the first part was released on September 10, 2021, and is also telecasted on television through Tokyo TV Network. Ash and Goh are on the journey to find more Pokemon and tame them. They explore different places in the master’s journey participating in various competitions in the locations they are at.
