Danganronpa Watch Order That You Should Follow

It doesn’t make sense to compare the universe of Danganronpa with anything else. What distinguishes this series from others is that, even if you merely watch the anime, you will come to realize that, in order to completely appreciate what is occurring, you must also play the games that accompany it.

That was my miscalculation. The games make a lot more sense now that I’ve played at least the second one, despite the fact that I originally saw them in the anime.

This highly rare watch order post will include not just anime, but also video games, making it one of the most unusual watch order posts ever.

Throughout the entire game, Danganronpa is an excellent choice. You must see Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc in order to fully comprehend what is going on in the game (Game).

I’m going to explain why some of the items on this list are optional so that you may decide if they’re right for you in this section.

Danganronpa: The Animation

There is no reason to watch the anime after completing the first game other than for your own entertainment after completing the first game. When compared to the original game, the anime adaptation hurries through the story and cuts out crucial material. Even if you don’t participate in the first game, you will understand what you must accomplish in order to progress to the next. You don’t have enough flavor in your food. Well, you can watch this series here on Crunchyroll.

Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls

Ultra Despair Girls may not be your cup of tea if you love visual novel-style games, as it is a third-person shooter in which you must kill your enemies. Its primary purpose is to provide more information about the backstories of characters that will appear in upcoming episodes. Keep in mind that Toko meets Naegi’s younger sister and that the two of them form a good bond after that.

Super Danganronpa 2.5: Nagito Komaeda and the Destroyer of the World

This little segment isn’t very noteworthy in the context of the OVA. By combining Danganronpa 3 with the second game, you may gain a feel for the overall story. This is nothing more than a dietary addition.

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony

Danganronpa Watch Order
Danganronpa

Even the third season of the anime series has nothing to do with the third installment of the game. In addition, it serves as a witty middle finger to the audience, which is appreciated. There is a false impression created that the game is of poor quality, which it most certainly is not. The filmmakers, on the other hand, were playing with our expectations, which I like.

Super Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair

During the first season of the anime, the majority of the important information may be found. First and foremost, be sure you complete Super Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair before proceeding to Danganronpa 3. When planning to watch the anime, it’s a good idea to play the game or watch a Let’s Play of the anime first.

Future Arc and Despair Arc

Also, I believe that the Future Arc and the Despair Arc were intended to be seen in sequential order by the Danganronpa 3 designers, although I could be wrong. Remember that watching Future episode 1 brought the Hope Arc to a close and that watching Despair episode 1 brought the Hope Arc to a close as well. This is something that can be accomplished, but it will slow down the progress of the Future Arc.
