Benidorm Season 11 release date

After over a decade on the small screen, creator Derren Litten confirmed its cancellation in 2018. He did present some good news in the fact there would be a stage show. It didn’t bring much comfort to those who had watched it from the very beginning. There had also been plans for a movie. This didn’t go ahead reportedly because Litten had left show business to run a themed bar in Spain.

Four years after the final episode debuted on ITV, there is still plenty of love for the series, with Litten and original stars returning for a Benidorm convention. Hosted by Litten himself, fans could relive some of the funniest moments in the sitcom alongside fellow viewers. He continued: “everyone, in the words of Madge Garvey in series seven episode two, ‘Never say never. Never say never.’ ‘I’d like to thank this amazing cast that started out as employees. It went on to be friends and now they’re my family.'”

Upon hearing the news, fans couldn’t wait to share their excitement on social media. As of yet, there has been no talk regarding a possible return date for Benidorm. Since it has only been announced at the convention. It is still very early days with filming unlikely to have started. But if they are able to start production soon, then Benidorm could very well return by the end of 2023.
