This romantic comedy and Harem genre is adapted from the Japanese manga series which was written and illustrated by Miki Yoshikawa. After initially being published in September 2019 as a one-shot, this was adapted into an Anime Television series by Shin-Ei Animation and SynergySP. The series was premiered on April 2022 through the TV Asahi’s NUMAnimation block. The manga was published by Kodansha and has 12 volumes to run. The anime television series is, however, directed by Hiroaki Akagi and Yoshiyuki Shirahata. The music for this was given by Rei Ishizuka and is licensed by Crunchyroll. Kakkō no Iinazuke Story
This happens to be a chaotic romantic story about two kids who were mixed up as kids and were sent to different households. The story is about a guy called Nagi who is a student in the second year at Megurogawa academy and is in love with his classmate Segawa Hiro. Parallel to this story is also about the story of a girl called Erika who is against her father and wants to turn into a rebel against him. When the guy was finally about to meet his biological parents, who were some hotel tycoons, fate mixes up their games by making Erika meet Nagi and somehow convincing him to play her fake boyfriend to get away from marrying her fiancée. This messes things up but as being kids to loving parents, their parents understand their selection of partners and get them engaged. They even start staying together. However, as Nagi loved Segawa and Erika’s sole motive was just to stand as a rebel against her father, they decide to not get involved with each other. And that is exactly what the whole plotline starts from.

Kakkō no Iinazuke Characters
Beautiful romantic comedy characters who have different biological parents and due to a mix-up are raised by different families. Well, fate plays a more complex role when the kids meet after years and pretend to be people they are not. Nagi Umino is voiced by Yuma Uchida, and Kaito Ishikawa is the main character upon whom the whole plotline is based. Nagi is the biological son of a hotel tycoon and is a student in his second year at Megurogawa academy. Erika Amano is voiced by Maaya Uchida and Akari Kitō in Japanese and English respectively and is a character who was the one with whom Nagi was mixed up. Currently an Instagram celebrity, she wants to turn into a rebel against her father and not marry her fiancée. Sachi Umino is voiced by Konomi Kohara and Bryn Apprill and is the adoptive sister who is not related by blood to Nagi. Having developed feelings for Nagi, she constantly fears being left by Nagi and thus decides to stay with Nagi and Erika with them and even join the same academy as him. Other than them, another important character is Hiro Segawa the love interest of Nagi. Hiro despite being engaged with somebody has developed feelings for Nagi and befriends Erika.
