The lifestyle adopted in Myriad Colors Phantom World is very interesting and thought-provoking. The narration shows the concerning consequences of the spreading of a virus. Not much has been highlighted about the origin of the virus except that it occurred during an experiment, that involved human brains, going off-track to give birth to the virus. The virus took a toll on the human brains and abled them to see the existence of alternate universes like ghosts. The creatures they could see were named ‘phantoms’. Although nothing harmful it was hard to get used to a whole new pair of unknown visions. But it was normalized with moving generations as the new-age kids born after the virus was gifted with special superpowers. The spellbinding superpowers included calling and warding off phantoms, creating fire from the heart, manifesting metal through lungs, etc.

The superpowers of this new generation are a strategic chapter that keeps the plot moving because these powers help them fight the evil phantoms. There has to be a good for a bad to exist, right? Hence though most of the mystical phantoms were harmless, evil ones were also there. The young generation of kids blessed with superpowers almost went to the same schools, organizations, etc. The plot is centered around the main character called Haruhiko Ichijou and his immensely supporting peers. This group of high school with magical powers kids from Hosea Academy made a team. They resolved to fight the evil phantoms. They decided to so and pay off their school fees by the rewarding money of the conquest once they win.

Myriad Colors Phantom World had many many interesting characters living in it. The focus characters developed in the show were portrayed with immense depth and note-worthy artistry. The first lead character and the protagonist of the show were Haruhiko Ichijo who was fittingly voiced by Hiro Shimono in Japanese and Micah Solusod in English. He was the child of a divorced who always hoped within him that his parents would get back together. He was a book-work with a lot of quintessential knowledge. His special powers included communicating with the phantoms in a way they could bring them and get rid of them as his own call. Mai Kawakamiwas another main character, who was brought into life by Sumire Uesaka in Japanese and Amber Lee Connors in English. Haruhiko was a first-year high school student and Mai was a second-year high student. She was close to him and also had magical powers like manifesting natural powers like fire, metals from different parts of his body like hearts and lungs.
