The British sitcom has a long and varied history. If you can find a good show on cable or satellite now, you can get an even better one from the United Kingdom on black-and-white television. Despite its transphobic originator, The IT Crowd is without a doubt one of the funniest and best British sitcoms of all time
Despite the fact that it has been running for seven years, there has been no news from it in the last seven. As a result, we’ve compiled a list of ten resources for The IT Crowd fans.
Peep Show
Peep Show is a show that has comparable humorous features to The IT Crowd. With nine seasons, you have a lot to get through compared to the normally brief runs of British comedy (of admittedly deteriorating quality).

The Office: The British Version is a comedy classic, if not THE classic. The IT Crowd was heavily influenced by Ricky Gervais’ two-season run, which only provided viewers only a look inside the strange working lives of his fascinating characters.
A quick glance at The IT Crowd’s David Brent reveals how his ego has been deftly split and spread among the show’s numerous characters.
Office (US)
A discussion of The Office in the UK would be incomplete without including the American remake. Despite the British version’s obvious superiority in terms of raw humor, after nine seasons with over twenty episodes each, you get to know and love the characters in the American version much more deeply than you do in the British version.
The cringe-inducing humor of the UK Office relates it to The It Crowd, while the US version takes a similar approach.

Travel Man
Despite the fact that the topics of Travel Man and The IT Crowd are as far off as you can get, fans of Richard Ayoade’s witty manner will certainly become addicted to it right away.
In a series of short documentaries, Ayoade follows a comic on a weekend trip. Even when he isn’t playing Moss, he retains the awkward, honest humor that he brought to the character.
Black Books
Even if we don’t want to promote The IT Crowd’s transphobic founder, Graham Linehan, it’s tough not to find parallels between The IT Crowd and the unjustly underappreciated Black Books.
In many ways, the three primary characters (the outspoken, frequently angry Irishman; the eccentric but endearing nerd; and the relatively normal but brilliantly amusing woman) are carbon clones of one another.
Sillicon Valley
Since the days of Friends, I’ve been a huge lover of sitcoms, and I’ve seen practically every well-known and obscure one along the way. I’m not sure how I missed this hidden treasure of a concert. The moment has come. This is one of the best shows on television right now, in my view, and you should not miss any of the seasons.
You wouldn’t expect something like this from HBO, given the usual roughness and heaviness of a big-budget drama. The good news is that they were completely correct. This is a well-written comedy with engaging plots and endearing characters. The way everything comes together confirms that this sitcom is one of the best.
Parks and Recreation
Parks & Recreation, like The Office, has a lighter, joyful tone. Breaking the fourth wall, the characters periodically acknowledge the audience. It’s done in a more amusing way here. In my opinion, this is a terrific method to make viewers feel like they’re a part of the planet.
The amazing ensemble of Parks and Recreation distinguishes it from other sitcoms. Ansari, Poehler, and Jones have all performed admirably in their respective roles. It’s safe to say that Ansari already has a name in the industry. Simply, he’s awe-inspiring.
Because the characters care so much about one another, it’s simple to identify with them. When you watch this show, there’s a lot more at stake than just a good chuckle. You’re curious about what’s going on with them and what will happen next.’
At first sight, it may appear to be a parody of The Office, but this show is far more original than you may imagine. I’d recommend skipping Season 1 and moving directly into Season 2 to get the most out of the series. It’s unstoppable once it gets going.

30 Rock
You don’t have to worry about an awful laugh track with 30 Rock. You’ll be able to make fun of yourself. The plot is intertwined and never becomes repetitive. Nobody is the same; everyone has their own past, set of challenges, and distinct identity. It’s never too long to have a good laugh, therefore it never gets old.
If you enjoy comedy, you won’t be able to get enough of this. The plots of Alec Baldwin, Tracy Morgan, Tina Frey, and the rest of the supporting characters had us fascinated from the beginning. They’ll have you hooked from the start. Of course, strong writing skills are required.
Two and A Half Men
The plot revolves around a suspended attorney who is compelled to work at a community college.
Despite its small size, you should take my word for it when I say that every joke on Community is unique and spot-on. Only the fact that this show is fantastic will suffice. Don’t let it pass you by.
It’s a comedy starring, you guessed it, two men.
This show has produced some of the most brilliant, dark, and amusing performances I’ve ever seen. There will be no cheap laughs in this movie. All of the jokes are delivered with impeccable timing and delivery. If you’re tired of all the dumb comedy that’s out there, this is a great treat.
If you’re searching for a cheerful sitcom, don’t miss this one.
How I Met Your Mother
Ted recounts his children the story of how he met their mother, the protagonist of How I Met Your Mother. He found it tough to shave off an entire floor.
This is a massive show in terms of raw entertainment value. Unless you’ve been living under a rock or don’t watch sitcoms at all, this show’s run ended not long ago. Binge-watching-friendly.
I find each character’s connection to the others to be quite endearing. It’s difficult to think they’re not great buddies in real life. The show grows increasingly enjoyable to watch as it proceeds. It’s one of the best shows CBS has ever broadcast!
Modern Family
Modern Family is a television show in the style of a mockumentary that follows the lives of three families. Even if the format of the show turns you off, you should still give it a shot. Despite the fact that I’m not a big admirer of the look, I was fascinated after only a few episodes. This sitcom is filled with razor-sharp humor, dead-on sarcasm, and creative plotlines.
Rules of Engagement
In this story, there are two couples and one lone protagonist. Throughout their partnership, they experience a slew of amusing love and marriage problems. The great majority of the problems they encounter are universal. Their challenges are addressed in a mature but amusing manner.
However, as annoying as the laugh track is, the actual chuckles more than make up for it. But, in the end, Rules of Engagement is a good television show.

The Guild
You’ll meet a bunch of buddies who are huge World of Warcraft aficionados in this program. Nerdier than this? Yes, absolutely.
This episode was very entertaining for me as an ardent gamer who enjoys spending a lot of time playing with others. For a show like this to be entertaining, it must convey a sense of authenticity. What happens when the gang finally meets in person is rather amusing to witness. Things aren’t going exactly as planned. Whatever happens on television is bound to make people laugh.
Community

Friends
Friends is a television show about six teens from New York City. They spend ten years learning what it means to be a friend through a variety of circumstances.
Every single one of the show’s key characters became a favorite of mine. It’s not a depressing comedy since you can identify with their circumstances. There is a sense that you are a member of the group.
All of the seasons are still available on DVD, which I urge you do as well. It’s one of the greatest comedies of all time, and it forever changed the landscape of television.
