The original anime series “The Heike Story” is based on Hideo Furukawa’s 2016 Japanese epic “The Tale of the Heike.” Taira is regarded to be one of the most powerful Japanese clans, spanning from the 11th to the 12th centuries and leaving an indelible effect on Japanese history. Minamoto was Taira’s most serious opponent. The Minamoto clan fought for dominance of Japan for many years, with Minamoto-Taira winning the ultimate battle.
Unexpectedly, a young orphan girl finds herself with a clan whose warriors murdered her beloved father. Biwa, the Shigemori Taira clan head, saw murder, violence, and war when she met with the girl who predicted their deaths.

The Heike Story Season 2 Story
Biwa recalled a day when individuals dressed in red rushed past her and her father, ostensibly to punish those who dared to criticize Taira, also known as Heike. One of the warriors killed him in cold blood right in front of the girl’s eyes – the father was punished for his child-daughter.
The Taira family’s renown extends far beyond their lands. Biwa’s ancestors come from a sea-conquering clan that amassed vast wealth and military might. What does the future hold for her in a home where she only sees tragedy? Shigemori adopted the girl and ordered her to be taught manners and etiquette after recognizing her extraordinary gift.
What can bring the Taira clan’s leader and a village small girl together? Both appear to be able to see things that others are unaware of. Shigamori can see the ghosts of the dead, while Biwa has the ability to look into the future. Her father, however, who was aware of his daughter’s gift, forbade her from using it.
Her father died as a result of Biwa’s thoughtless statements. The young girl understands, with shock and anguish, that her village’s days are numbered.
Biwa inherits the family of Shigemori, the clan’s chief, after the death of his loving and lone mother. He discloses to the girl that he can see things that most people can’t. She may see her father’s spirit, for example, who is never far from his child. Biwa : She chose the name Biwa in honor of an instrument with which she has never parted. Her father was assassinated by members of her family’s warriors. Biwa is unaware that her father has never acknowledged her by her first name. Biwa’s father was shot dead by Taira clan warriors when she was a young girl, right in front of her eyes.
Shigemori Shigemori, who has also been diagnosed with heterochromia, meets Biwa. His gift is the capacity to see the souls of the dead, who appear to follow him about everywhere. Shigamori was left to succeed his father as the ruler of the entire Taira when he traveled to Fukuhara to carry out extreme and ambitious plans to enhance the clan’s authority.
