Witch at Court Season 1 Story
The story of the Witch at Court tells about the injustice suffered by many women related to sex crimes and all. A prosecutor who constantly explains ways of winning every prosecution and a neophyte prosecutor are thrown together to tackle sex crime cases in this show. With animosity, they deal with the case together. Crime is pervasive in this k drama but the most difficult aspect is implementing justice to combat it. Justice should also not be battled for; rather, it should be a right that every individual has. In legal dramas, justice is frequently abused to further personal interests, so it’s not anymore about right and wrong that leads to someone accepting punishment, but rather about the weak person constantly losing.

A wealthy female prosecutor is assigned to a special force for sexual offenses and she is not afraid to use personal attacks, manufacture evidence, or inspire perjury in trying to beat her case. A new defendant also enters the task squad, and the two work together grudgingly to solve crimes. So, this is the basic plot of it and in the second part story could be formed from this thing itself but there could be another case and the cast could be the same. As the cast is very interesting.
Witch at Court Season 1 Cast

Jung Ryeo-Won is a seasoned prosecutor who has worked in all four of Seoul’s district prosecutors’ offices. She has to walk a tightrope between legal and unlawful investigation. In trying to beat her case, she does not reluctant to employ personal insults, manufacture evidence, or instigate perjury. She is, however, egotistical and irritable. She has struggled to advance from poor beginnings at Korea’s most conservative organization. Then she becomes involved in an investigation and is transferred to the organization’s most despised team, the special task team for child sex offenses. He’s a brand-new prosecutor who graduated first in his class from law school. Promotion, success, or office politics are uninteresting to him. Yoon Hyun-min used to be a pediatric psychiatrist, thus he can tell the difference between truth and lies by looking for subtle subtext and hidden hints in people’s evidence, which is very valuable in investigating sex crimes, which almost never have physical proof. He doesn’t like Yi-Deum at first because of her zealous pursuit of power, but after learning about her tragic history, he extends his arm to her and defends her. Jun Kwang-Ryul was unable to become an attorney since his dad was a moved activist under a right-wing regime. He became a cop instead. His father’s reputation always would drag him down and when he had a chance to advance, so he falsely accused innocent individuals of being socialists to show his government devotion. Well, the cast could be the same for the second season also. Let’s hope for the best.
