All the six episodes of Appalachian Outlaws were indeed well perceived by the audience. The success of the show led to the creation of the second season soon after. The second season of Appalachian Outlaws had its first episode named “Root Awakening”. The launch of this episode on February 2, 2015, established the premiere of the second season. The story set-up is done in the region around the Appalachian Mountains as it has ginseng harvesters. The idea of this show revolves around the exploitation of these harvesters. The demand for ginseng is massively high hence people outside the Appalachian Mountains try to possess it so they can make their own profit in the market. The people living in the Appalachian Mountains protect their harvest and stand against the outsiders as they know their worth.
The third season of Appalachian Outlaws stands canceled until now by the channel of History so it is difficult to predict a plot for it. But we can keep our fingers crossed for the harvesters to return and share a new part of their practice or a new update of their life with us.
