Arcane Season 2 Story
We can understand your eagerness and interest in learning more about the storyline of season 2 of Arcane. Unfortunately, no release date has been announced yet. So the storyline is also not clear. We can make some guesses based on the storyline of the first season but nothing is certain as of now.
If you have played League of Legends you already have some idea about the storyline of the series. The story deals with two intergalactic cities- Piltover and Zaun. In a promotional video for Arcane season 2, we came across the voices of Jinx, Caitlyn, and Vi. So they will be very much a part of the second season. Arcane Season 1 Recap
Season one of Arcane was indeed a power-packed one. Full of thrill and excitement, it left us wanting more of the action, raw emotions and excitement. The first season set the pace for the huge potential intercity war that is bound to happen. With the death of Vander, the sisters, Vi and Powder are separated from each other. They find each other in different situations. The Powder is now known as Jinx and works with Silco to smuggle a magical substance called Shimmer into the city of Piltover. Vi has been put into prison by Marcus. Piltover is prospering with the new Hextech technology created by Jayce.

In the final episode, we see that the potential intra-city war has shaken both Zaun and Piltover. Jayce realising the potential damage and destruction that would be caused by this war agrees to a peace treaty with Silco which confirms Zaun’s independence in exchange for Jinx. Meanwhile, Viktor persuades Jayce to destroy the Hexcore because of the dangers it possesses. Jinx has kidnapped Vi, Caitlyn and Silco. They are tied to a table and Jinx has lost her mind with the fear of being betrayed.
She makes Vi choose between herself and Caitlyn. However, Vi tries to communicate with Jinx through her childhood memories. Jinx has a mental breakdown which Silco breaks through and almost shoots Vi. But in a manic fit, Jinx guns down Silco who dies in her arms while establishing his love for her.
This event leaves Jinx traumatised and heartbroken. She accepts her identity and acknowledges her change from Vi. She decides to damage the Piltover council building. Against all protests from Vi, Jinx loads the Hextech gemstones into a rocket launcher and fires at Piltover. At that same moment, the council finalized the proposal for the independence of Zaun.
Thus, the ending of season one has been a big cliffhanger. And fans cannot wait to learn what happens after this. The future of not only the cities but the relationship between the two sisters hangs in the balance.
