He was an employee at a black company before joining his new job at Minette. Momose struggled a lot in his previous job because of his boss. 

He worked overtime while facing constant power harassment from his senior. Momose’s mental and physical health started deteriorating, and he joined Minette in a sales position. Unfortunately, his first day was not like he wanted. Because of his past trauma, Kentarō Momose was unavailable to work and function properly. 

He started getting stomach cramps, which made him unable to move. However, his new boss, Yūsei Shirosaki, says nothing and leaves without rebukes. The incident instills fear inside Momsoe, making him think Shirosaki is the same as his previous boss. But, he could not be more wrong about Shirosaki.
