While we see close-up shots of his logo, we hear the audience screaming and applauding while Dave says ‘Thank you’ and “Let’s go.” The shots change to white text containing the words ‘DAVE IS BACK’ over a black background and the release date. At the end of the teaser trailer, we hear Morgan Freeman chuckling and confirming the return of Dave Chappelle.

Amidst all the excitement for Dave Chappelle’s new comedy special, there are some who do not share the same enthusiasm for the release. It is hardly surprising since the actor was involved in many controversies. In his last comedy special, The Closer, he identified himself as a TERF.
It means trans-exclusionary radical feminists who do not consider trans people to be their gender. People have also called him out after he supported J.K. Rowling and said the LGBTQ+ community is responsible for her downfall. He further stated that this community attempts to talk against anyone who does not like them.
