The highlight of the series is Kelett’s vision to make With Love a compilation of distinct personalities stumbling towards unconditional love. It might be a generic tale with a modern twist, showcasing the issues faced by queer people to achieve their love. It is a polygonal plot-arched storyline with Lily, her brother, Jorge, her cousin, Sol, her ex-boyfriend, Santiago and her current love interest, Nick serving as major characters of the story.
The last season climaxed with a rather intriguing cliffhanger, leaving fans wondering about the third season of this rom-com. With Love Season 3 Plot: Will Lily Find Her True Love This Time?
In the previous season, Jorge finally left his insecurities behind and proposed to his long-term boyfriend, Henry. A while later, wedding bells start to ring and the couple decide to marry each other. Lily, still struggling with her feelings towards Santiago who’s commitment-phobic and her co-dependency issues tries moving on with Nick, her best friend since college who’s been crushing on her ever since. On the other hand, Sol’s love interest, Miles Murphy, a plastic surgeon, accepts that he’s a queer and decides to build a future with Sol.
With Love Season 3 will be dealing with Lily’s codependency issues. Though she’s a salesgirl at a local makeup store, Lily has no aspirations for her future except her desire to get married. Santiago has now realized that he cannot let his phobia meddle with his relationship with Lily, albeit too late. Lily has now agreed to marry Nick but her heart isn’t fully into the relationship and this love triangle will now serve as a major story arc for With Love Season 3.
