My Country (나의 나라) is written by Chae Seung-dae whereas Kim Jin-won has directed the series. Park Woo-lam and Kim Ji-woo are the producers while the executive producer is Oh Hwan-min (jTBC). Choi Chul-ho and Oh Hye Ju have composed the music for the series together. JTBC has distributed the series. Under the production companies Celltrion Entertainment and My Country SPC, the series premiered with a budget of approximately ₩20 billion on October 4, 2019, along with just 16 episodes series wrapped up in the same year on November 23.
From October 4, 2019, the series premiered at 22:50 KST on JTBC. For all Korean fans, the series was broadcasted on the network JTBC whereas for non-Korean viewers the series is streaming on Netflix. It’s been so long since viewers got season 1, but everyone is craving season 2. Will they get season 2? Have creators already shown the green light to season 2? So, unfortunately, until now nothing is known about the renewal status of season 2 of My Country: The New Age. I guess we’ll have to wait a little longer to get the renewal of its sequel. My Country Season 2 Story
My Country k-drama series has already attracted several international audiences and even got a rating of 8.3 out of 10 by IMDb. This beautiful storyline with a bunch of adventures follows the life of two best friends named Nam Sunho and Seo Hwi. Seo Hwi is a son of legendary Soldier Seo Geom whereas Sunho is an illegitimate son of an influential man named Nam Jeon. These two main protagonists grew up as best friends, but what happens within their life, that they become each other’s rivalry. To know the whole story you need to watch all 16 episodes of My Country. However, nothing is known about the storyline of season 2 as it is not renewed yet.
