Rock Paper Scissors Season 2 release date and Where to Watch

Kyle Stegina and Josh Lehrman, creators of Disney Channel’s Bizaardvark, crafted Rock, Paper, Scissors, an American animated buddy comedy television series. So when is the Rock Paper Scissors Season 2 release date? It represents the fifty-fifth major Nicktoon, inspired by the classic playground game. Nickelodeon’s Intergalactic Shorts program, designed to discover pitches from underrepresented talent, greenlit the show first on November 1, 2021.

The pilot episode debuted on August 19, 2023, following an exclusive sneak peek during the 2023 NFL Nickmas Games on December 25. Ron Funches voices Rock, Thomas Lennon portrays Paper, and Carlos Alazraqui lends his voice to Scissors. Mike Reagan serves as the composer for the series, hailing from the United States and primarily in English.

Rock Paper Scissors Season 2 release date

Nickelodeon premiered its new animated series Rock Paper Scissors on February 12, 2024. Ron Funches, known for Trolls, leads the cast as Rock, while Thomas Lennon from Reno 911! portrays Paper and Carlos Alazraqui, famous for Rocko’s Modern Life, voices Scissors.

During the Storytellers program, Lehrman and Stegina developed what would later become their three-season Disney series Bizaardvark. After wrapping the third season, Lehrman seized an opportunity at Nickelodeon: the Intergalactic Shorts program. The program aimed to discover new and diverse creators globally, nurturing their vision for original comedy-driven content with a focus on representation. Lehrman teamed up with Stegina once again to pitch “Rock, Paper, Scissors” as part of the program.

Nickelodeon Animation head Ramsey Naito expressed pride in bringing the hilarious characters of Rock, Paper, Scissors to series, recognizing creators Kyle Stegina and Josh Lehrman’s talent.

Rock Paper Scissors Plot

In Rock Paper Scissors, Adam and Amelia Wright, a struggling couple nearing another anniversary, win a trip to Scotland in a work raffle as a last-ditch effort to save their marriage. They find themselves in a secluded old chapel in the woods, where deep resentments and tantalizing secrets emerge in this suspenseful domestic thriller.

Rock, Paper, and Scissors, best friends and roommates, engage in constant competition but share a bond of love. Rock serves as the moral compass, Paper as the practical one, and Scissors as the right amount of chaos, leading them into wild adventures.
