Taiwanese shows have recently received a lot of attention, particularly in East and Southeast Asia, and Triad Princess is one of the first few to be available for streaming on Netflix. Outside of Taiwan, fans of K-drama have gradually emerged, as have those who are marks of K-drama. And the reason why Taiwanese shows are getting so much attention these days is that they are primarily focused on romance rather than thrillers and crime.
Triad Princess’ first season, which consists of over six episodes, was released on Netflix on December 6, 2019, and has already gained a following. Triad Princess Season 2 Story
The story revolves around Angie Ni (played by Eugenie Liu), a young cheerful girl who is the daughter of triad boss Ni Kun (played by Michael Huang), who leads a fearsome gang known as the Cosmos. She is 25 years old and has grown tired of living in her father’s shadow for so long. She finally decides to leave him and start living her own life.
Angie creates a new identity and works as an undercover bodyguard for a famous actress, knowing she will stand out as the daughter of a known criminal. As she begins her new life, she eventually runs into her celebrity crush, Xu Yi Hang, with whom she falls in love.
Xu Yi Hang, on the other hand, isn’t exactly how he’s portrayed in front of the cameras and paparazzi, and finds it very easy to be himself around Angie. Hang is soon enamored with Angie’s boundless joy and innocence, and a snowball of romance and emotions begins to roll down the snowy peak, that is until he receives an eye-opener.

Hang’s film career, combined with Angie’s criminal background, compares their relationship to that of Romeo and Juliet, in which external forces are constantly attempting to keep these two apart.
Angie is literally walking on thin ice because she is in the spotlight of the news media and the paparazzi because she is around Hang. She could inadvertently expose her father’s business as well as Cosmos’ activities to the public. This is what puts Angie and Hang’s love to the test, and it always succeeds, as we’ve seen over the years.
Triad Princess Season 2 Cast
In Triad Princess, Eugenie Liu is the actress who plays Ni An Qi (also known as Angie), the main female lead. Eugenie started out with a different career in mind, including journalism and sports, despite being the daughter of Liu Ming, who is also an actor. She considered combining her two main interests as a student in the hopes of becoming a sports reporter, but given the current state of affairs, she ultimately chose to become an actress.
The main male lead, Xu Yi Hang, is played by Jasper Liu, a well-known Taiwanese musician, and model who made his acting debut in 2011 as a supporting actor in ‘In Time with You.’ Since then, Liu has appeared in a number of well-known television shows and films.
Among his many roles are the critically acclaimed ‘The Patisserie with No Name,’ in which he plays the main character, as well as outstanding performances in ‘Take Me To The Moon,’ ‘When I See You Again,’ ‘Once Upon a Love,’ and ‘Pleasantly Surprised,’ among others.
